WHEREAS, John Dixon has been a long time volunteer in the Arlington area; and
WHEREAS, you can find John at the Henry Kaufmann Center everyday, where Mr. Dixon helps every organization with their daily tasks and special projects; and
WHEREAS, John volunteers in the Arlington Meals on Wheels kitchen and serves as a board member of the Arlington Civic Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dixon personifies community service and all that the Arlington Civic Council stands for; and
WHEREAS, you can always look to Mr. Dixon for a kind word and a helping hand;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and thank John Dixon for all he does for the residents of Arlington and the City of Pittsburgh.
