Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, in form approved by the City Solicitor, with Community Based Organizations for community and economic development planning assistance in various neighborhoods in the City and providing operating support for these groups in an amount not to exceed $599,220.03, chargeable to and payable from the 1993 Community Development Block Grant Program, Department of City Planning "Community Based Organizations

                     Is hereby amended to read as follows:

                                          The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, in form approved by the City Solicitor, with Community Based Organizations for community and economic development planning assistance in various neighborhoods in the City and providing operating support for these groups in an amount not to exceed $597,856.49, chargeable to and payable from the 1993 Community Development Block Grant Program, Department of City Planning "Community Based Organizations", 500000-2610-110000-C1993-G221000-1997
