Title

Resolution amending Resolution 285 of 2024, which authorized the City of Pittsburgh to negotiate a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the County of Allegheny, the Pittsburgh Public School District, and the Pittsburgh Land Bank, by fully authorizing the execution of said Agreement or Agreements.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Resolution 285 of 2024, entitled “Resolution amending Resolution No. 234 of 2024 (Bill No. 2024-0291) requiring a Council vote on the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement or Agreements between the City of Pittsburgh and Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, and County of Allegheny, Pittsburgh Public School District and Pittsburgh Land Bank for the shared operation and administration of the Pittsburgh Land Bank,” is hereby amended as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The City of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement with the County of Allegheny, the Pittsburgh Public School District, and the Pittsburgh Land Bank for the shared operation and administration of the Pittsburgh Land Bank.

 

Section 2.                     The authorized Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.

 

Section 3.                     As stated in City Code §174A.03.k, the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement “must specify the membership, if any, of the taxing jurisdiction on the board and the actions of the Land Bank which are subject to approval by the taxing jurisdiction.”
