Title

Resolution declaring that certain City property in the South Side Works Plan of Lots, No. 4, shall be dedicated for public park purposes.

Body

WHEREAS, by deed (the "Deed") dated August 14^th, 2002, UPMC Presbyterian conveyed to the City title to 2.871 ± acres of land known as Parcel 7 in the South Side Works Plan of Lots No. 4, recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in Plan Book Volume 215, pages 142-145 and further designated as being part of Bock 29P Lot 401 in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania (the "parcel") located in the 16^th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh; and

WHEREAS, the parcel is further described in EXHIBIT A, which is attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, the City now desires to officially dedicate the parcel for public park purposes; and

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  It is hereby declared that the above-described parcel shall hereafter officially be dedicated for park purposes.
