Resolution authorizing the Chief and Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance to enter into an agreement or agreements and/or contract or contracts for the acquisition and implementation of an e-mail archiving and retention system, cost not to exceed two hundred ten thousand dollars ($210,000.00) and providing for the payment of the costs thereof.

Whereas, the Pittsburgh Department of Innovation & Performance can become more efficient by updating and improving upon the City e-mail archiving and retention system,
The Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby enact as follows:
Section 1: The Director Innovation & Performance is hereby authorized and directed, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, to enter into agreement or agreements and/or contract or contracts or the use of existing contracts or agreements and other approved expenditures for the acquisition and implementation of an e-mail archiving system. Cost not to exceed two hundred ten thousand dollars ($210,000.00) and providing for the payment of the costs thereof. Funding for this project will be available in the following JD Edwards chartfield: 0325100314.53705.00 in the Department of Innovation & Performance capital budget.
