Title

Resolution authorizing and directing the City Controller to create a special trust fund, to be designated as the North Shore Park Trust Fund, for the purpose of depositing funds and authorizing the expenditure of funds deposited therein for maintenance of the North Shore Park in the 22nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a special trust fund, to be designated as the North Shore Park Trust Fund.  All vending fees, docking fees, easement fees, license fees and similar development fees paid by users of the park and the riverbank and those benefited thereby, will be deposited to the North Shore Park Trust Fund. All grants and donations from local corporations, foundations and individuals specifically designated for the North Shore Park Trust Fund shall also be deposited in said Trust Fund. The moneys will be expended from the North Shore Park Trust Fund to pay any and all expenses associated with the maintenance and improvement of the North Shore Park, including, but not limited to, salaries, supplies, materials and equipment and shall only be done so by a formal authorizing Resolution of Council.

 

Section 2. The Resolution , with attachment herein, includes an official map and boundary of the North Shore Park.
