Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Finance to enter into, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, a lease agreement or agreements with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, to utilize a portion of that certain City-owned building located at 822 Crucible Street, 20th Ward, Council District 2, City of Pittsburgh, for the purpose of placing and maintaining telecommunications equipment, at no cost to the City.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of Finance are hereby authorized to enter into, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, a lease agreement or agreements with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, to utilize a portion of that certain City-owned building located at 822 Crucible Street, 20th Ward, Council District 2, City of Pittsburgh, for the purpose of placing and maintaining telecommunications equipment, at no cost to the City. Rents collected under said agreement or agreements shall be deposited into JDE account number 11101.107000.43.43407.

 

Section 2.                     The term of said lease agreement or agreements may not extend beyond the year 2042.

 

Section 3.                     The said lease agreement or agreements shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.
