Resolution amending resolution No. 216 of 2020 entitled "Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of City Planning to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Community Conservation Partnerships Program to provide funding for the master planning process of Fowler Park" to add language to allow the City of Pittsburgh to accept the grant award and spend the Funds.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Resolution 216 of 2020 entitled "Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of City Planning to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Community Conservation Partnerships Program to provide funding for the master planning process of Fowler Park" is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and Director of the Department of City Planning are authorized to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Community Conservation Partnerships Program to provide funding for the master planning process of Fowler Park. The total project cost is up to $80,000.00. The grant proposal includes an ask of up to $40,000 with a local match of up to $40,000 to come out of the 2021 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget (JDE Job Number 1109500121). In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed EIGHTY THOUSAND ($80,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited in the Grants Trust Fund Account 1129400350.45505.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into agreements or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts, to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the grant agreement.
