Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement with the Cultural Trust to receive monies to secure funds for infrastructure improvements within the Cultural District and further providing for legitimate expenditures for payments and agreement or agreements, or contract or contracts for any services required in connection with the execution of said grant agreement. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts or expenditures shall not exceed $500,000.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into Grant Agreements with the Cultural Trust for the receipt of grant monies not to exceed the amount of Five Hundred Thousand dollars ($500,000.00). These funds will be used to secure funds for infrastructure improvements within the Cultural District. The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund: Account 481140, Fund 2940, Org 400000, Project PR10022, Budget Year 2008, Department of Public Works - Bureau of Transportation and Engineering.
Section 2. The Director of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the Cultural Trust outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed Five Hundred Thousand dollars ($500,000.00) chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund: Account 481140, Fund 2940, Org 400000, Project PR10022, Budget Year 2008, Department of Public Works - Bureau of Transportation and Engineering.
