BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The Director of the Department of Public Safety on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract or Contracts, for the purchase of protective clothing and accessories.  The total shall not exceed Three Hundred Thousand dollars ($300,000.00) chargeable to and payable from Account 500000, Fund 2610, Organization 250000, Sub-Class C2008, Budget Year 2008, Project/Grant #2267365, Bureau of Fire, Department of Public Safety.
