Title: WHEREAS, H. Lazar and Son, Inc. is a full line, coin-operated amusement business located within the City of Pittsburgh, founded by Hyman Lazar in the early 1930's. In the 1950's, Hyman's son, Bernard, assumed ownership of the business, which, in the late 1970's, was subsequently assumed by and is currently operated by his son, Dale S. Lazar; and, WHEREAS, the Lazar family takes great pride in the fact that they are a third-generation family owned and operated business with a strong tradition of personal service. They are dedicated to the principles of professionalism and integrity, coupled with operational emphasis on quality equipment, efficient and courteous service, comprehensive preventative maintenance, and regular equipment rotation; and, WHEREAS, H. Lazar and Son, Inc. is comprised of over one thousand amusement machines situated in both street and game room locations in Western Pennsylvania. Lazar and Son, Inc. operates a variety of amusement machines in bars, restaurants, bowling centers, pizza parlors, convenience stores, hotels, motels, and family entertainment centers.
 
 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby extend heartiest congratulations to H. Lazar and Son, Inc. on its Seventy-Fifth Anniversary, and offers best wishes for continued success to Dale S. Lazar, his family and employees.
