Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a utility easement agreement or agreements with Crown Castle Inc. to access, excavate, bore, and install fiber internet connectivity infrastructure under, across, and over city-owned property located at Pittsburgh EMS Medic 03-Police Zone 6 (312-320 S Main St., Block and Lot Nos. 6-A-97 & 6-A-99) at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh (the "Grantor") is the owner in fee simple of certain parcels of real property located in the 20th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being known as Pittsburgh EMS Medic 3-Police Zone 6 located at 312-320 S Main St, Pittsburgh, PA 15220, being identified as Parcel IDs 0006-A-00097-0000-00 & 0006-A-00099-0000-00 in the Allegheny County Department of Real Estate, as more particularly shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
WHEREAS, Crown Castle Inc. (the "Grantee") must access Medic 3 and the surrounding area to install conduits and fiber internet cables as part of the NetPGH Dark Fiber Project with the City of Pittsburgh;
WHEREAS, the City is willing to provide a utility easement to Crown Castle Inc. in order to access and perform the necessary boring and installation of fiber internet under, across, and over the aforementioned city-owned parcels;
WHEREAS, the Grantee's work will improve internet connectivity for City medic services personnel at Pittsburgh EMS Medic 3;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a utility easement agreement or agreements with Crown Castle Inc. to access, excavate, bore, and install fiber internet connectivity infrastructure under, across, and over city-owned property at Pittsburgh EMS Medic 3 located at 312-320 S Main St. (Bloc...
