Title

Resolution providing for the filing of an application or applications by the City of Pittsburgh with federal government agencies for a grant or grants in connection with the GREAT program.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of Public Safety are hereby authorized to file an application or applications and enter into an Agreement or Agreements with federal government agencies to provide the G.R.E.A.T. program, Gang Resistance Education and Training, within the City of Pittsburgh.  The agreements shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.

Section 2.  This Resolution becomes effective the date of the Mayor's signature.
