Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with Pittsburgh Regional Transit in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) dollars to support the development of an Equitable Transit-Oriented Development study in the Homewood neighborhood around a proposed station on the East Busway, chargeable to and payable from the following accounts:

Section 2.                     This resolution authorizes an inter-governmental Cooperation Agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Regional Transit. Per Ordinance 161.02 (a)(5), the cooperation agreement authorized by this resolution is exempt from a competitive procurement process.

 

Section 3.                     This resolution is exempt from review by the City of Pittsburgh’s Equal Opportunity Review Commission (EORC). Per Ordinance 177A.06 (a)(5) Waiver, agreements with other governmental or quasi-governmental bodies, such as the Cooperation Agreement authorized by this resolution, are exempt from EORC review.
