Resolution vacating a portion of Bethoven Way between Hancock Street and an 8' Private Way in the 6th Ward, 7th Council District, of the City of Pittsburgh.

Whereas, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Bethoven Way in the 6th Ward, 7th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
Whereas, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by ant persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That vacating a portion of Bethoven Way between Hancock Street and an 8' Private Way; All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the 6th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being more fully described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point on the southeasterly corner of Hancock Street and Bethoven was (formerly known as Quadrant Alley); thence from said point of beginning along the southerly side of Bethoven Way North 46° 10' East, a distance of 184 feet to a point on the southwesterly corner of Bethoven Way and an unnamed 8.0 foot wide private alley; thence crossing Bethoven Way North 35° 00' 30" West, a distance of 15.17 feet to a point on the northerly side of Bethoven Way; thence along the northerly side of Bethoven Way, South 46° 10' West, a distance 184 feet to a point at the northeasterly corner of Bethoven Way and Hancock Street; thence along the said side of Hancock Street, South 35° 00' 30" East, a distance of 15.17 feet to a point at the place of beginning.
