Resolution amending Resolution No. 701, effective December 14, 1998, entitled “Providing for an Agreement or Agreements, or use of existing Agreements for preliminary engineering, including environmental re-write, preliminary design, and definition of Scope of Services for final design, in connection with the reconstruction of Fort Pitt Boulevard-Eastbound Bridge; providing for a Reimbursement Agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and providing for the payment of the costs thereof;” by amending the language to provide for reimbursement to the Commonwealth.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 701, effective December 14, 1998, which presently reads as follows:

“The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Engineering and Construction, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and to enter into an Agreement or Agreements or use existing Agreements, in form approved by the City Solicitor, for preliminary engineering, including environmental re-write, preliminary design, and definition of Scope of Services for final design, in connection with the reconstruction of Fort Pitt Boulevard-Eastbound Bridge at a cost not to exceed $l,000,000.00 chargeable to and payable from the Account 600000, Fund 5100, Org 301000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Project/Grant 2231010, Budget Year 1998,

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Engineering and Construction, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are herby authorized to enter into a Reimbursement Agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation, for reimbursement of the state government's share of costs to the City of Pittsburgh,”
