Title

Resolution providing for the issuance of an Agreement or Agreements with a qualified third party Administrator (Employers Unity) to administer the City of Pittsburgh's liabilities under the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Law for a period of four years.  Not to exceed to $28,220.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements in a form or forms approved by the City Solicitor with a third party Administrator  (Employers Unity) to administer the City's liabilities under the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Law for a period of four years beginning October 2004.  Said Agreement or Agreements shall not exceed $28,220.00 (Twenty Eight Thousand Two Hundred Twenty) chargeable to and payable from Account #574100, Fund 1000, Sub Class 040, Organization Code 999300 and Budget year 2005.
