Resolution authorizing the Mayor, the Director of Finance, and the Director of Public Works to enter into an easement agreement or agreements with Duquesne Light Company for the installation and maintenance of one (1) PMH-9 switch and one (1) transformer on City-owned parcel ID 83-P-297 (200 N SAINT CLAIR ST PITTSBURGH, PA 15206; Council District 9) at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, the City (“Grantor”) is the owner in fee simple of that certain parcel of real property located in the 11th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being identified as Parcel Tax ID Nos. 83-P-297 (the “Property”); and
WHEREAS, as part of the renovations to that certain Fire Station 08 upon the Property, the City of Pittsburgh has requested that Duquesne Light Company (the “Grantee”) install a new PMH-9 switch and transformer (the “DLC Assets”) upon the Property; and
WHEREAS, Duquesne Light Company has agreed to install the DLC Assets upon the Property, subject to an easement agreement or agreements to be granted by the City of Pittsburgh.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, the Director of Finance, and the Director of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into an easement agreement or agreements with Duquesne Light Company for the installation, use, operation, maintenance, repair, and removal of one (1) PMH-9 switch and one (1) transformer on City-owned parcel 83-P-297 (200 N SAINT CLAIR ST PITTSBURGH, PA 15206; Council District 9).
Section 2. The easement agreement or agreements shall be in a form and substance approved by the City Solicitor.
Section 3. The area of the Easement is depicted on the drawing that is attached hereto as Exhibit A
