Resolution authorizing Council’s consent to an extension, pursuant to § 922.05.D of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances (the “Zoning Code”), of the deadline for the Planning Commission to act on Council Bill #2026-0009.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to the request of the Honorable Deborah Gross, representative for Council District Seven, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby consents to an extension of time, in accordance with § 922.05.D of the Zoning Code, for the Planning Commission to submit its report and recommendation on Council Bill 2026-0009, entitled “Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Zoning Code, Title Nine - Zoning, Article IV, Planning Districts; Chapter 908 Public Realm Districts; Chapter 909 Planned Development Districts; Article V, Use Regulations; Chapter 911 Primary Uses; Chapter 912 Accessory Uses and Structures, to add Short-Term Rental use regulations,” which was referred to the Planning Commission on February 11, 2026. City Council consents to a twenty-eight (28) day extension, changing the deadline for final action for the Planning Commission to June 9, 2026.
Section 2. Any Resolutions or Ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency.
