Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the City of Planning to enter into an agreement(s) and/or contract(s) with Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group (PCRG) for the purpose of utilizing an AmeriCorps VISTA in the Department of City Planning at a cost not to exceed Twenty-One Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($21,900.00) over one year.

WHEREAS, PCRG operates as the local intermediary for the administration of the AmeriCorps VISTA program, which allows volunteer professionals to perform work for municipal agencies and non-profit organizations; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage an AmeriCorps VISTA through PCRG to carry out projects in the Department of City Planning; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the City to engage PCRG for the placement of an AmeriCorps VISTA for a one-year term is not-to-exceed $21,900.00.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement(s) and/or contract(s) with Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group for costs associated with the placement of an AmeriCorps VISTA for the Department of City Planning and providing for the payment of the costs thereof, not to exceed Twenty-One Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($21,900.00), to be paid from the Department of City Planning Operating Budget (11101.110000.53.53901.2025).
Section 2. Said Agreement or Agreements are approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
