Whereas, Sheridan Broadcasting Corporation will host its 4th Annual "Today's Woman" conference on Saturday, October 18, 2003 at the Ramada Plaza Suites and Conference Center, in Downtown Pittsburgh; and,
Whereas, The conference will feature lunch and keynote speaker entertainment lawyer, Heather Nelson, whose clients include gold and platinum artists, managers, models, songwriters and labels including Def Jam, Warner Brothers, Universal and J Records; and
Whereas, The event's theme is "A Brand New You," that will focus on self-improvement and improving interpersonal relationships. It will also feature workshops such as "Making Your Dreams Come True," "Thinking out of the Box- Strategic Planning for your Professional Career," "Weight Management," "Stress Management" and more:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, does hereby commend Sheridan Broadcasting Corporation for their efforts to promote self awareness, emphasizing education and achievement of Today's Woman to the residents of the City of Pittsburgh.
