Resolution amending Resolution #380, effective May 30, 2001 entitled: "Authorizing the Mayor or the Director of the Finance Department to enter in to an "EZ GOLD" Agreement with the Port Authority of Allegheny County," by directing the Department of Personnel to administer the program.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  That Resolution #380, effective May 30, 2001 which currently reads:

The Mayor or the Director of the Finance Department is authorized to enter into an EZ GOLD Agreement with the Port Authority to take advantage of the tax free mass transit benefits established by the United States Congress under the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century ("TEA21").

 is hereby amended to read as follows:

The Mayor or the Director of the Department of Personnel & Civil Service is authorized to enter into an EZ GOLD Agreement with the Port Authority to take advantage of the tax free mass transit benefits established by the United States Congress under the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century ("TEA21").

NOTE: I do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance duly engrossed and certified, was delivered by me to the Mayor for his approval of disapproval and that the Mayor failed to approve or disapprove the same, whereupon it became law without his approval, under the provisons of the Act of the Assembly in such case made and provided.
