Title

Resolution declaring that City Property located between the Seventh and Ninth Street Bridges shall be dedicated for Public Park Purposes.

Body

WHEREAS, by deed dated April 30, 2001, the Aluminum Corporation of America conveyed title to the City of 0.638 acres of land (the "parcel") designated as Parcel A in the Alcoa Plan, as recorded in the Officer of the Recorder of Deeds of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in Plan Book Volume 214, Pages 17, 18, situate in the 22^nd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh for purposes of a public park; and  

WHEREAS, the parcel is further described in EXHIBIT A, which is attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, the City now desires to officially dedicate the parcel for public park purposes.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      It is hereby declared that the above-described parcel shall hereafter officially be dedicated for park purposes.
