WHEREAS, each year, the Arlington Civic Council recognizes outstanding volunteers, who make a difference, in their community; and
WHEREAS, Teri Cataldo-Fazio is one of this year's honorees, for her loyal service to the Arlington Civic Council and all things Arlington; and
WHEREAS, not only is no task too small, or too large, for Ms. Cataldo-Fazio, apparently, there are never too many tasks for Teri; and
WHEREAS, Teri Cataldo-Fazio chaired the Youth Committee, where she worked with over 20 teens and created a luau in South Side Park, with a 20 foot working volcano; acted as a counselor with the Arlington Green Team, again working with teens, to plant and tend a pumpkin patch and vegetable garden, clean city lots and steps; and create a variety of craft projects; has worked with the PTAs of both Arlington and Phillips Elementary schools; and is a Daisy Leader for the Girl Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Cataldo has long served the Arlington Civic Council as chair of the Education, Special Activities and Ways & Means Committees; Vice -President and where she is currently serving as President; and
WHEREAS, in addition to her volunteer time, Teri Cataldo-Fazio, is the wife of Frank Fazio and the proud mother of Michael, age 8, and 5 year old twin girls, Adrianna and Gabriella.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, does, hereby, recognize and commend Teri Cataldo-Fazio for her dedication and service to the Arlington Neighborhood of Pittsburgh, and particularly the Arlington Meals on Wheels.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does, hereby, proclaim Monday, June 07, 2010, to be Teri Cataldo-Fazio Day in the City of Pittsburgh.
