Title
That the Council of the City of Pittsburgh approves and the Mayor and the City Solicitor are hereby authorized to enter into an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement with the Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority for Cities of the Second Class.

Whereas, the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has enacted the Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority Act for Cities of the Second Class (Act of 2004, February 12, P.L. 73, No. 11) (the "Act") which provides for the City and the Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority (the "Authority") to enter into such agreements as are necessary to accomplish the purposes of the Act;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby approves and the Mayor and the City Solicitor are hereby authorized to enter into an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement with the Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority for Cities of the Second Class substantially in the form of an agreement attached hereto.
