Title: WHEREAS, Mrs. Barbara Mary Bombich will commemorate the occasion of her 90th birthday with a joyous celebration of her family and friends; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Bombich, the daughter of George Volovic and Mary Bahoric Volovic, was born on August 21, 1917, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and WHEREAS, Barbara Mary Volovic was married to Joseph Bombich on July 15, 1949, at which time they set up household in the Lawrenceville section of the City of Pittsburgh, where she remains today, residing at I.W. Abel Place. WHEREAS, the happy union of Barbara and Joe produced two children, Barbara and Michael; and, one grandson, Kevin Kelly. Barabara's beloved husband, Joe, passed in 1984; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Bombich worked hard for many years at various jobs and took care of a sick husband for ten years, yet still found time to watch her grandson for many of his younger years. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh extends best wishes to Barbara Mary Bombic...
