WHEREAS, Stonewall Democrats is a national grassroots network, with over 90 chapters, connecting LGBT Democratic activists across the nation; and

WHEREAS, The National Stonewall Democrats focus on the hard grassroots work of calling voters, organizing mail campaigns, and door knocking, all to advance the need for social change in our Country; and

WHEREAS, hundreds of Stonewall Democrat activists will come together in Pittsburgh for the Stonewall National Convention from June 2, 2006 - June 4, 2006; and

WHEREAS, the conference will feature many national Democratic leaders, such as, Governor Howard Dean, Governor Ed Rendell, Congresswoman Julia Carson, and US Army Captain Patrick Murphy.
