Resolution approving execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for the sale of Block 10-D, Lots 310, 313, 314, 318, 327, 329, and 333, in the 5th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh (701 Wandless Street, 2826, 2835, 2851, 2855 Orbin Street, 2837, 2851 Vincennes Way - Council District No. 6 - Parklet).

 

Body

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh, in connection with the sale of Block 10-D, Lots 310, 313, 314, 318, 327, 329 and 333 in the 5th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for the sum of $1.00, and

 

Whereas, the City of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to accept the aforementioned Deed; and

 

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed conveyance is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.

 

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     That execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh in connection with the sale of Block 10-D, Lots 310, 313, 314, 318, 327, 329 and 333, said property being located in the 5th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby approved,

 

Section 2.  That acceptance of the aforementioned Deed by the City of Pittsburgh is hereby approved.
