Title

Resolution requiring a plan for the use of funds for the Food Justice program before said funds are released to the Food Justice Fund.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The proposed allocation of Food Justice Funds in the 2023 budget shall not be released until a use plan is submitted to and approved by Council.

Section 2.  If the plan for said funds is not submitted to Council within 6 months from the effective date of this Resolution then, said funds will be reallocated elsewhere in the City’s budget and the Food Justice Fund will not receive the 2023 proposed allocation.

Section 3. Any ordinance, resolution, or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution shall be interpreted in favor of giving full effect of this Resolution.
