Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Director of the Department of Public Safety is authorized to purchase police dogs at a cost not to exceed Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000) chargeable to and payable from Fund 1000, Subclass 100, Account 531800, Org. No. 230000, Budget Year 2002, Bureau of Police, Department of Public Safety.
