Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements  in a form approved by the City Solicitor and for a duration of three years, for Dr. John R. Stepusin to provide professional services in connection with the setup and oversight of the City's Wildlife Management Program, including but not limited to veterinary assistance in complying with all applicable regulations of the Drug Enforcement Administration in obtaining controlled substances,  at a cost not to exceed $135,000 over the three  year term of the agreement, chargeable to and payable from Code Account 526100, Fund 1000, Organization Code 430000, Subclass 150, Budget Year 2007, $15,000; 2008, $45,000; 2009, $45,000; 2010, $30,000, subject to annual budget appropriation, Department of Public Works, Bureau of Environmental Services.
