Resolution Acknowledging Delta Foundation as a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act.

WHEREAS, Delta Foundation is a non-profit organization that fosters tolerance within the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community; and

WHEREAS, the Delta Foundation non-profit organization, has been operating for over 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Delta Foundation desires to be more self-sufficient so it can support the programming and operations of the organization, the activities it provides to members, and efforts to improve quality of life in the region.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognizes Delta Foundation to be a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
