Whereas, the "Dobbs First Cousins Family Reunion" will be held Thursday, June 30, 2005 through Sunday, July 3, 2005 at the Parkway Center Best Western Hotel on Greentree Road; and
Whereas, the Dobbs family began with the marriage of its patriarch--John Wesley Dobbs--and matriarch—Lizzie Collins Dobbs--in Granada Mississippi; and
Whereas, the Pittsburgh Family Reunion Committee--John Dobbs, Janice Dobbs, Leslie Dobbs, Daisy Dobbs and Ronny Dobbs--will be welcoming family members to our fair city from all corners of the United States and the Continent of Africa.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, Pittsburgh City Council congratulates the Dobbs family on its "First Cousins Family Reunion," and extends a special welcome and wishes for a fun-filled affair, and safe travels as they motor about the Keystone state and journey home again.
