Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts s follows:

Section 1. Resolution No. 339 effective May 25, 2000, as amended by Resolution No. 486 effective July 13, 2000, by Resolution No. 587 effective August 21, 2000, and by Resolution No. 641 effective September 28, 2000, and by Resolution No. 848, effective December 13, 2000, which presently reads as follows:


Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, with the following various community organizations, for operational/administrative expenses, maintenance, purchase of equipment and/or rehabilitation of neighborhood facilities for the benefit of residents of the City of Pittsburgh and further, authorizing various departments to enter into contract(s) or use existing contract(s) for the purchase of equipment and/or furniture and installation thereof, at a cost not to exceed $1,489,000.00, chargeable to and payable from the 2000 Community Development Block Grant Program "City Council".
