Title
Resolution authorizing a contract or contracts, and an agreement or agreements, for the purpose of obtaining assistance with the performance of cable franchise compliance review activities, and providing for the costs thereof. Cost not to exceed $20,000.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor or the Director of the Department of General Services is hereby authorized to enter into a contract or contracts, and an agreement or agreements, for the purpose of obtaining assistance with the performance of cable franchise compliance review activities, and providing for the costs thereof, in an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000). chargeable to and payable from Department of General Services Miscellaneous Services Account Fund 1000, Organization 124000, Subclass 150, Budget Year 2003, Account No. 525500. Services shall include, but not be limited to, the evaluation of franchise fee compliance, ascertainment of compliance with customer service standards, a determination of whether the cable system in the City of Pittsburgh meets technical performance and operating standards, and remedial actions thereto.
