Body

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh wishes to develop an ID with support and features to increase access and use of facilities, services, and amenities by children and adults, provide easier identity and residency verification with local law enforcement, increase transportation access, provide easy-entry access to financial institutions for unbanked individuals, and reinforce a culture of unity and welcome for all Pittsburgh residents; and

 

WHEREAS, Shift Collaborative possesses the skill and desire to provide planning support to define the program parameters and requirements to create, launch, and manage the dissemination and on-going maintenance of this program; NOW THEREFORE

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to use funds, in an amount not to exceed Thirty Nine Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Dollars ($39,280), to enter into a professional services agreement or agreements with Shift Collaborative, for the preliminary buildout of a Municipal/City ID. Purchases are authorized and shall be paid out of the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400163.50000.00.
