Title

Resolution declaring that certain city property in Lawrenceville shall be dedicated for public park purposes.

Body

WHEREAS, by quit-claim deed (the "Deed") dated November 10, 1995, CSX Transportation Inc, conveyed to the City title to 5.3105 ± acres of land (the "parcel") located in the 6^th and 9^th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh in Lawrenceville; and

WHEREAS, the parcel is further described in EXHIBIT A, which is attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, the Deed specifies that the City may use the parcel for "park, recreational, or open space purposes only"; and

WHEREAS, the City now desires to officially dedicate the parcel for public park purposes; and

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      It is hereby declared that the above-described parcel shall hereafter officially be dedicated for park purposes.
