Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances, Title One, Administrative, Article III, Organization, Chapter 135, Department of City Planning, Section 135.01 - City Planning Commission as Head; Supervision and 135.02, - Powers and Duties of Commission, to amend the supervisory responsibility for the Department of City Planning.

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances, Title One, Administrative, Article III, Organization, Chapter 135, Department of City Planning, Section 135.01 - City Planning Commission as Head and Section 135.02 Powers and Duties of Commission are hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. The Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances, Title One: Administrative, Article III, Organization, Chapter 135, Department of City Planning, Section 135.01 is hereby amended by amending the title and content of Section 135.01 to clarify who serves as Department Head.
§ 135.01 - [CITY PLANNING COMMISSION] DIRECTOR AS HEAD; SUPERVISION.
The Department of City Planning shall be under the charge of [the City Planning Commission which shall appoint a Planning Director] a Director, who shall be the head thereof.
Section 2. The Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances, Title One: Administrative, Article III, Organization, Chapter 135, Department of City Planning 135.02 is hereby amended by amending the title and content of Section 135.02 to clarify the powers and duties of the Director of City Planning.
§ 135.02 - POWERS AND DUTIES OF [COMMISSION] DIRECTOR.
The Department of City Planning [Commission] shall be organized and have such powers and duties as are set forth in the laws of the General Assembly and in City ordinances.
