Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Finance to enter into an easement agreement or agreements with Duquesne Light Company for the installation of one (1) pole and one (1) anchor on City-owned parcel ID 76-D-1-0-2.

Body
WHEREAS, the City ("the Grantor") is the owner in fee simple of that certain parcel of real property located in the 26th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being identified as Parcel Tax ID No. 76-D-1-0-2 (158 Riverview Avenue, Council District 1) (the "Property"); and

WHEREAS, the Property is in the location of certain source control improvements funded in part by a Grant Agreement between Pittsburgh Water and the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) identified with the Project Name 2019-01-038 Woods Run Stream Removal-Phase 1; and

WHEREAS, to support the Woods Run Stream Removal Project, and pursuant to Council Resolution 375 of 2025, the City has previously executed a Declaration of Restrictions and Covenants and appurtenant documents, in cooperation with Pittsburgh Water, over certain easements and right-of-way in the vicinity of the Property, as a condition of an Operations and Maintenance, and Grant Agreements with Pittsburgh Water has with ALCOSAN in conjunction with the Woods Run Stream Removal Project; and

WHEREAS, the Woods Run Stream Removal Project requires that Duquesne Light relocate one (1) of its poles and one (1) anchor that currently sit within the public right-of-way onto the Property; and

WHEREAS, to facilitate the Woods Run Stream Removal Project, the City has agreed to grant an easement to Duquesne Light Company to allow for the said relocation of one (1) pole and one (1) anchor onto the Property.
