• Title: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh commends and congratulates Father Frank Mitolo on the occasion of his 40th anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh proclaims that Sunday, May 18th, 2008 be hereby declared as “Father Frank Mitolo Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Father Frank Mitolo is celebrating the 40^th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood; and

WHEREAS, Father Mitolo has served his country with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and retired as a Brigadier General with the Chaplain Corps; and  

WHEREAS, Father Mitolo has served as a spiritual light for over thirty years to the residents of the City of Pittsburgh and is currently serving as the Pastor at Church of the Resurrection in the neighborhood of Brookline; and

WHEREAS, Father Mitolo served more than 12 years as Chaplain at Allegheny General Hospital, more than six years as Chaplain at Mercy Hospital, and more than six years as Pastor of Saint Catherine's Church in the neighborhood of Beechview;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh commends and congratulates Father Frank Mitolo on the occasion of his 40^th anniversary of Ordination to the Priesthood; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh proclaims that Sunday, May 18^th, 2008 be hereby declared as "Father Frank Mitolo Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
