      WHEREAS, on November 17, 2003, Helen Kunich will celebrate her 100^th Centennial birthday with family and friends; and

      WHEREAS, Helen Kunich was born in Yugoslavia on November 17, 1903, and moved to the City of Pittsburgh some 90 years ago.  She currently resides in the neighborhood of Lawrenceville; and

      WHEREAS, Helen married John Kunich, and the couple spent 49 years of marriage together; and

      WHEREAS, from this union Helen and John were blessed with 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  

      NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, would like to thank Helen Kunich for her outstanding citizenship, her love and devotion to her family and to the City of Pittsburgh; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council in the City of Pittsburgh wishes Mrs. Helen Kunich a "Happy 100^th Birthday" and declares today, November 18^, 2003 as "Helen Kunich Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
