Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into a License and Maintenance Agreement with the Central Northside Neighborhood Council to maintain a planting median strip stretching from the intersection of Federal Street and Hemlock to Federal Street and Alpine Avenue.
Body
WHEREAS, Central Northside Neighborhood Council, a non-profit Pennsylvania corporation, has offered to maintain a planting median strip to be owned by the City and located on City property stretching from the intersection of Federal Street and Hemlock to Federal Street and Alpine Avenue.
WHEREAS, the City now seeks to enter into a License and Maintenance Agreement with the Central Northside Neighborhood Council to set forth terms relating to the construction and maintenance of the planting median strip.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into a License and Maintenance Agreement with the Central Northside Neighborhood Council to maintain a planting median strip stretching from the intersection of Federal Street and Hemlock to Federal Street and Alpine Avenue. The License and Maintenance Agreement shall permit a revocable term of ten (10) years and shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
