Title
An Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title I--Administrative, Chapter 161.33--Contracts, Pittsburgh Living Wage, by adding a new subsection (f) exempting the Animal Rescue League from the provisions of the Living Wage Ordinance.

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title I--Administrative, Chapter 161.33--Contracts, Pittsburgh Living Wage, by adding a new subsection (d) exempting the Animal Rescue League from the provisions of the Living Wage Ordinance to read as follows:
Section 3. Living Wage
(f) In order to insure that the city has the ability to provide for the appropriate level of care and sheltering of stray, deserted or impounded animals, the Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania, which is contracted with the City of Pittsburgh for such services, is specifically exempted from all provisions of the Living Wage Ordinance.
