Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a contract or contracts, agreement or agreements, or the use of existing contracts or agreements for the hiring of a design professional consultant to develop a schematic design for the renovation of the Frick Park Environmental Center which was recently damaged by fire.  The direction for the design will be developed through a short, concentrated public process for the Department of Parks and Recreation in the amount of Thirty Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) from the Frick Park Trust Fund, Account 526100, Fund 7712, Subclass 600, Organization 500000, Budget Year 2003 in the Department of Parks and Recreation.
