Title
Resolution authorizing the assignment to Lamar Outdoor Advertising Company of the License Agreement, dated June 1, 2001, between the City of Pittsburgh and Adshel, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, by License Agreement dated June 1, 2001, the City of Pittsburgh ("City") granted a License to Adshel, Inc. to install, operate and maintain bus shelters in the City; and
WHEREAS, Adshel now desires to assign to Lamar Outdoor Advertising Company ("Lamar") the License Agreement, including without limitation all of Adshel's rights, obligations and liabilities thereunder, and Lamar desires to accept said assignment; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to consent to such assignment.
Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The City hereby consents to assignment of the License Agreement from Adshel to Lamar, and further the Mayor and other necessary and appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to execute all documents, agreements and instruments, subject to approval of the City Solicitor, as are necessary and proper to effectuate the said assignment.
