Title: WHEREAS, Brashear High School provides education to grades nine through twelve and a computer science magnet program under the administration of principal Ruthanne Reginella; and WHEREAS, The 2007 Bulls Varsity Football Team won the City League Championship Title by defeating Alderdice High School on November 15th, 2007 at Heinz Field to finish the season with a perfect record; and WHEREAS, under head coach Ron Wabby, assistant coaches Rick Murphy, Craig Aguglia, Jeff Arnold, Major Harris, Sean Scofield and Pat Diven, The Bulls were undefeated in regular season and championship games; and WHEREAS, The Brashear Bulls Compiled an average 35.1 points for and 7.25 points against for the season, in addition the offense averaged 328.8 yards per game while the defense averaged 5.5 sacks per game; and WHEREAS, The 2007 Brashear Bulls Varsity Football Team achieved this noteworthy goal through individual commitment and teamwork; and WHEREAS, the memories and friendships these te...

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend The 2007 Brashear Bulls Varsity Football Team for their hard work and contribution to The City of Pittsburgh.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby proclaim Tuesday, November 27th, 2007 as "Brashear Bulls Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
