Title: WHEREAS, Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP) holds the noble mission of advancing issues affecting young and young-thinking people in Pittsburgh, making the region a more dynamic, engaging, and diverse place in which to live; and, WHEREAS, PUMP will be hosting the 2007 ImPAct Conference for Young Professionals which will provide an opportunity for young professionals to meet like-minded individuals with similar interests, concerns, and overall goals for the future of Pennsylvania; and, WHEREAS, the 2007 ImPAct Conference for Young Professionals provides and incomparable serves to younger Pittsburgh citizens by encouraging its members to get mobilized, get energized, and make an ImPAct; and, WHEREAS, participation in young professionals groups strengthens the bonds that members have to their cities and increases the chances that they will stay and foster success within those cities; and, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereb...

WHEREAS, PUMP will be hosting the 2007 ImPAct Conference for Young Professionals which will provide an opportunity for young professionals to meet like-minded individuals with similar interests, concerns, and overall goals for the future of Pennsylvania; and,
 
WHEREAS, the 2007 ImPAct Conference for Young Professionals provides and incomparable serves to younger Pittsburgh citizens by encouraging its members to get mobilized, get energized, and make an ImPAct; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the dedication of the selfless members of PUMP and thanks them for hosting the "2007 ImPAct Conference for Young Professionals" to attract fresh-minded individuals to  stay and contribute to the growth of Pennsylvania; and
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Friday, September 28th through Sunday, September 30th to be "ImPAct 2007 Week" in the City of Pittsburgh.
