Title

Resolution providing for the creation of the Pittsburgh Promise Trust Fund (PPTF) and setting conditions for the deposit and expenditure of such funds.

Body

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. That the City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a trust fund entitled "The Pittsburgh Promise Trust Fund (PPTF)" into which shall be deposited all revenue received from private and public sources explicitly for the implementation of the Pittsburgh Promise Program that shall be developed by the Mayor, Solicitor and Board of Public Education.

Section 2.  Any such funds accumulated may be expended only to pay for scholarships and other expenditures directly related to the implementation of the Pittsburgh Promise Program.
