Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of General Services and the Director of the Department of Engineering and Construction, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or use existing Agreements and/or a Contract or Contracts, or use existing Contracts in connection with the investigation, design, construction and/or remediation for critical slope failures throughout the City and for the purchase of equipment, materials and supplies for said projects; at a cost not to exceed $230,000.00 chargeable to and payable from the following:
