Resolution approving execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for the sale of part of Disposition Parcel 3, Block 115-K, Lot 114 in the 26th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, in Redevelopment Area No. 35 - Council District No.1 (Right-of-Way).

Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 126, approved April 7, 1971, and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Redevelopment Proposal for Redevelopment Area No. 35 in the 26th and 27th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh was approved; and
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh, in connection with the sale of part of Disposition Parcel 3, Block 115-K, Lot 114, for $1.00, said property being located in Redevelopment Area No. 35 in the 26th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh; and
Whereas, the City of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to accept the aforementioned Deed; and
Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed conveyance is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh in connection with the sale of part of Disposition Parcel 3, Block 115-K, Lot 114, for $1.00, said property being located in the 26th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby approved, said conveyance being in conformity with the Redevelopment Proposal for Redevelopment Area No. 35 in the 26th and 27th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh.
